My name is Luna!

Luna is a very sweet, expressive and smart dog. She was adopted from a shelter in 2019 and since then, she has been potty trained, recall-trained, button trained, and agility trained.
While she does really well with long hikes, she is also just as content with a daily short ~15 min walk. Her primary need is someone to be present physically and mentally as often as possible. The shelter told me that she was from a hoarding situation where there was not much love to go around. Because of this, she struggles with some reactivity if she is left at home alone for longer than 8 hours at a time. She is s also sensitive to some sounds and she is a bit slow to warm up to new people.
Despite all this, she is extremely loving and her reactivity is a non-issue if she is getting enough care and attention during the day. She is a “belly up” dog when you reach over to pet her, and will often worm her way right into your arms.
