My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Debbie is still looking for her forever home! This loving shepherd/husky lady is waiting for just the right family to scoop her up. 🥰

She is about 5 years young. She is fun and energetic and also a cuddly couch potato. Due to her herding and prey drive, she should not be around cats and should be supervised around small dogs, children unknown. Debbie is great with dogs, crate trained, and knows basic commands.

Debbie came to us a bit overweight and is looking quite trim these days. We recommend keeping up with a good diet, and some moderate exercise. ❤️

If you want to meet this gorgeous lady, fill out an application on res-que.org.

Additional adoption info

Our fees depend on the amount spent on our dogs vet bills before adopting out. They range from $395 to $500 We require an adoption contract and home visit when the dog is adopted. We try to keep in touch with our adopters for the first few months in case there are problems.

Go meet their pets

We do events throughout the year at different locations. Our dogs are in foster homes and can be seen by appointment.

More about this rescue

We are an all breed dog rescue. We are a group of volunteers who pull harder to place dogs out of our local and surrounding shelters. Dogs go into foster homes and learn and are taught how to be inside loving companions. We will occasionally take owner surrenders to keep them from going into the system.
