My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Crockpot Meatballs is a cute male kitten who was surrendered to HSOV on April 29, 2025 along with his three siblings (Cocktail Weenies, Hot Wings, and Sloppy Joes) because their owner was unable to physically take care of them. The kittens were approximately 8-weeks old at that time.

This little man has a black short smooth coat with a tiny patch of white on his chest, a long tail, and a sweet face with golden eyes, a black velvet nose, and long black whiskers.

Crockpot Meatballs was given vaccinations and Panacur wormer on May 1, 2025. He weighed 2 lbs that day. Crockpot was given booster vaccines on May 20th, June 6th, and June 27th 2025.

Crockpot and his siblings have always had fun-loving personalities and enjoyed romping/playing with one another.

Crockpot Meatballs was taken to a veterinarian clinic for his neuter procedure on July 7th but did not undergo surgery that day due to a 'kitty cold' (i.e., upper respiratory infection) and has completed his antibiotics. Crockpot weighed 3.6 lbs that day.

Sadly his little brother Cocktail Weenies did not survive, and he passed away in our shelter on June 5th. We still mourn his passing since we loved him so much.

His little sister (Hot Wings) was separated from her brothers in mid-July 2025 when she underwent surgery to correct a deformation in her sternum. The surgery was successful and Hot Wings is thriving (and getting more mischievous by the day) (smile).

Crockpot Meatballs will tentatively be neutered in September 2025 and will soon be looking for a home with his best friend (brother Sloppy Joes).

Update: Crockpot Meatballs was neutered on September 25, 2025 and was also given rabies vaccine. He weighed 5.1 lbs that day.
