Sloppy Joes is a cute male kitten who was surrendered to HSOV on April 29, 2025 along with his three siblings (Cocktail Meatballs, Cocktail Weenies, and Hot Wings) because their owner was unable to physically take care of them. The kittens were approximately 8-weeks old at that time.
This little guy has a black short smooth coat, a long tail, and an adorable face with golden eyes, a black velvet nose, and long black whiskers.
Sloppy Joes was given vaccinations and flea treatment on May 1, 2025. He weighed 1.4 lbs that day. Sloppy Joes was given booster vaccines on May 20th, June 6th, and June 7th 2025.
Sloppy Joes and his siblings have always had fun-loving personalities and enjoyed romping/playing with one another. Sloppy Joes is a wanna-be shoulder kitty and loved posing for his 'big boy' pictures on the shoulder of our Executive Director Amy Rogers.
Sadly his little brother Cocktail Weenies did not survive, and he passed away in our shelter on June 5th. We still mourn his passing since we loved him so much.
His little sister (Hot Wings) was separated from her brothers in mid-July 2025 when she underwent surgery to correct a deformation in her sternum. The surgery was successful and Hot Wings is thriving (and getting more mischievous by the day) (smile).
Sloppy Joes was neutered on July 7, 2025 and was also given rabies vaccine. He weighed 3.7 lbs that day.
His brother (Crockpot Meatballs) will tentatively be neutered on September 2025. Sloppy Joes and Crockpot Meatballs will be ready to find a fabulous home so that may continue their non-stop schedule of playtime and kitten naps together.
