Say hello to Roxor! This 2-year-old, 17-pound boy has already lived a life full of adventure and he’s ready for the calm, loving home he deserves. Roxor was rescued in Mexico by Baja Safe, then flew on a plane up to California to come to our rescue. That’s a lot of change for any pup, but Roxor has taken it all in stride with his trademark calm, easygoing nature.
This sweet boy has a heart as big as his personality. He loves people and bonds quickly with those he trusts, always ready for a cuddle, a gentle scratch behind the ears, or just to sit close and soak up attention. He’s friendly with other dogs and enjoys their company as well. Roxor is affectionate, loyal, and endlessly cheerful, the kind of dog who will make your home feel warmer just by being in it.
Roxor has had quite a journey, and what he’s looking for now is stability, love, and a family who appreciates just how special he is. He’s ready to bring his charm, gentle personality, and adventurous spirit into a forever home where he can feel safe, loved, and celebrated every single day.
If you’re looking for a little adventurer with a heart of gold, Roxor might just be your perfect match. Please inquire today!

More about this rescue
Pug Nation Rescue of Los Angeles is a registered 501c3 non-profit organization dedicated to the rescue, care, and placement of abandoned, neglected, unwanted, displaced, and abused pugs. Our goal is to find every homeless pug a forever home; if we cannot do that, we pledge to provide a comfortable and loving place for sick or unwanted pugs to live out their lives. Our Board of five and numerous volunteers are passionate about Pug Rescue and live by our motto of “One Pug at a Time”. We feel that through our efforts we can change many of these forgotten Pug’s lives. In order to find our Pugs a home as soon as possible, we hold at least three adoption fairs a month and also organize a number of fundraising events, including the annual Pugtacular festival and Legendary Bingo at Hamburger Mary’s in West Hollywood. These events and on-line fundraising have provided the money to help pay for vet treatments, medicine and loving care at our Pug Station. We rely on the generosity of our supporters through donations and participation in our fundraising activities. If you would like to make a donation, find out about the next event, become a volunteer, foster, or adopt your own rescue pug, you are in the right place! You can also follow us on Facebook and twitter, there is always something going on and new pugs needing your help.
