My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Phoenix came to us an absolute bloody swollen mess as a result of neglect and demodex mange. She thrived under our care and has blossomed into an absolutely gorgeous young lady. She is trained in several basic commands and some “fun” ones as well such as sit, down, shake, spin, and “sit pretty”. She’s crate trained and potty trained. She does get a little enthusiastic around cats but never aggressive. She has been around them for nearly a year. She is very strong but has good leash manners. We wouldn’t recommend her around very small children or elderly individuals just because of her size and age potential for her to accidentally knock someone over. If Phoenix sounds like a good fit for your family let us know! She’s an awesome dog! She does great with other dogs after an initial slow introduction. She has lived harmoniously in two separate multi dog homes without incident but sometimes gets a little vocal on first meetings. Once she realizes the other dog is safe she relaxes and is wonderful!
