Meet Winifred! This beautiful tabby/domestic shorthair is on the hunt for her forever home—and she’s bringing her sweet, quirky charm with her. Winifred is a curious little detective. She might quietly trail behind you just to investigate your daily activities, giving you that adorable wide-eyed look that says, “Excuse me… why are we doing it this way?” She’s got opinions—and they’re precious. She’s a soft snuggler who prefers her cuddle time in peaceful solitude, but don’t be surprised if she decides you’re her person and sticks close by. Winifred can be a bit shy at first, so she appreciates slow, gentle pets and absolutely adores a good “booty rub.” Once you’ve earned her trust, you’ll see her sweet personality shine. When is it wet food time? Oh, she knows. She’ll be right there, sitting patiently like the polite little lady she is. She loves her toys—especially laser pointers—and while she’s shy with new people, she gets along well with other cats and mostly keeps to herself. If you’re looking for a quiet, thoughtful soul with a playful spark and a big appetite for love (and dinner), Winifred just might be your girl. She sure hopes so.
All cats are microchipped, neutered, current on all vaccines, and FeLV/FIV tested at the time of adoption.
An application is required to view our adoptable pets. All household members and any dogs from the household need to be present at the time of your appointment (unless your dog has had prior exposure to cats). A photo ID will be required at the time of adoption.
Appointments are recommended. All applications are considered general. Specific animals are NOT put on hold for adoption. When you visit, our adoption counselors will be able to make suggestions based on the type of pet you are looking for and help you find the best fit for your family.
Animal House Shelter cannot guarantee the breeds of the adoptable animals. The animals are posted on the website as the breed or breed mix based on their physical characteristics they most resemble. We also cannot guarantee the ages of our adoptable animals.
