Meet Paloma. She is a Maltese/Poodle mix and has the cutest features of both breeds. Paloma is an older girl (around 10 years old) and like many senior dogs she is pretty set in her ways. She likes her personal space to be hers; she can be a little fiesty when other dogs invade her space, but she does settle down after introductions. She is currently in a foster home with 4 other dogs, so other dogs in the house are ok as long as they can respect her space. She is very loving with her foster mom. She loves to snuggle and get her one on one time, but it takes some time for her to get comfortable. She loves breakfast and dinner time and likes to slowly mosey around the backyard, but is mostly content to hang inside. She does have some minor issues with her back legs (maybe just aging), but she gets around just fine. She is also blind and hard of hearing, but does just fine in her space and exploring her yard, once she has had time to adjust and learn her space. She does respond when other dogs bark, so she does have some hearing. In her golden years, Paloma is looking for a quiet house where she can take nice long naps and snuggle her special someone. If you are looking for a quiet, super relaxed, white, fluffy friend, Paloma is the girl for you. Paloma will need a patient adopter who has the time to give her space to adjust to her new surroundings.
