My name is Calliope!

Hello there, I’m Calliope — a lovely senior lady with a heart full of love and a voice to match! I’m a beautiful calico with the softest fur and a sweet, soulful nature. I may be in my golden years, but that just means I’ve had plenty of time to perfect the art of being a loving companion. I’m quite the talker—I enjoy having little chats and will happily purr along as you tell me about your day. My purr is strong and steady, especially when I’m kneading away in a cozy spot or getting some well-deserved attention. Cleanliness is important to me, especially when it comes to my paws. You'll often catch me delicately dipping them in my water bowl to keep them tidy (I have standards, you know!). That said, grooming myself isn’t really my thing anymore—but don’t worry, I absolutely love being brushed. It’s one of my favorite bonding moments, and I’ll reward you with purrs and sweet glances the whole time. If you’re looking for a calm, affectionate companion who loves cuddles, conversation, and being pampered, I might just be the perfect fit. I still have so much love to give—and I’d love to share it with you.

Staff Update: Calliope loves water, batting at it, playing in it, we highly recommend that she has a water fountain as she loves moving water to drink and gets a bit of an attitude if her fountain isn't running!  This gorgeous girl gets along with everyone (people and cats) and will be the first cat to make a new friend.  Although affectionate, she does not like being picked up and held.
