My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ellis is a black‑and‑white male kitten with a gentle, easygoing nature and a soft spot for cozy naps. While other kittens might be bouncing off the walls, Ellis is perfectly content to curl up, relax, and watch the world go by at his own pace. He’s calm, sweet, and wonderfully low‑key — the kind of kitten who brings a peaceful presence to any home. Give him a warm lap, a soft blanket, or a sunny windowsill, and he’s in his happy place. If you’re looking for a mellow companion who loves quiet moments and cuddly rest breaks, Ellis is ready to snooze his way into your heart.

More about this rescue

Palmetto Animal League is a private, non-profit, No Kill animal rescue organization that believes every animal deserves a second chance at life.

PAL’s Adoption Center, located in Okatie, South Carolina, serves as a temporary residence for approximately 200 dogs and cats while they wait to find a loving home. Our comfortable, upbeat facility is also home to PAL’s Community Clinic, which offers wellness exams, vaccines and other vital services to pet owners at affordable prices.

In addition, Palmetto Animal League manages a network of loving foster families to house and care for abandoned animals.
