My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Butters is a 1 year old lab mix with an endearing personality waiting for someone to unlock his full potential. This sweet boy is eager to please and will flourish under the guidance of a confident and understanding owner who can provide the direction he craves. Although Butters faced challenges in his early life, including being chained outside in his previous home with limited socialization and a shelter environment that hindered his growth, he is resilient and has a hopeful nature.
Initially, he may be cautious around new people, but with patience, treat motivation, and enjoyable walks, his true self shines. As he builds trust, Butters transforms into a loving and energetic companion with youthful energy and affection. Witnessing his carefree nature in the play yard, where he enjoys the simple pleasure of zoomies, is truly heartwarming to see. Butters will thrive with an owner who will guide him, helping him navigate new experiences and build confidence. We aren't sure how he would be in a home with other dogs, but know he will be just fine as the one and only.
