Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Radar is a 7 month old Chiweenie puppy. He was surrendered as a part of an accidental litter that the owner could not care for. We have gotten him fully vetted (up to date on shots, dewormed, neutered, microchipped) and he is looking for a new home. He will stay very small (under 10 lbs).
The perfect home for Radar would be a home that wants a high-energy active puppy who thinks everyone and everything on the planet is his best friend. His best quality is also his greatest weakness because he will run up to anyone and any animal thinking it's his friend and shower them with kisses. This can be too much for some dogs and cats, so it's important that any new siblings are tolerant of this behavior until Radar learns a few more manners.
Radar has 2 speeds . . .90 mph and asleep. It's hard to get any good pictures of him because he doesn't sit still for long. Although he loves to be picked up and cuddled, he's still very wiggly and would rather run around and play. He plays with any size dog and loves playing with larger dogs who understand Radar's small size and can be gentle with him.
Radar LOVES food and toys. LOVES them. I've yet to find something he won't eat or play with.
Radar uses a heavy duty dog door well despite his small size and keeps the inside of his kennel clean when he has access to a dog door. When he is in the house that does not have a dog door, he doesn't quite understand that he has to signal to go potty outside, but he's smart so with a little time and patience housebreaking shouldn't be a problem.
If you are interested in Radar, please contact us for an application. We do require a completed/approved application on file to schedule meet and greets.
