Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Sadie is a 7 month old Chiweenie puppy. She was surrendered as a part of an accidental litter that the owner could not care for. We have gotten her fully vetted (up to date on shots, dewormed, spayed, microchipped) and she is looking for a new home. She will stay small (under 10 lbs)
The perfect home for Sadie would be a home that wants a active but sweet and somewhat shy puppy who wants to be friends with everything but is just a little unsure at first. When she first sees someone or another dog, she tends to stop just short of them, watch, and sometimes back up and bark. Not in a mean way, but she's just unsure if she should approach. It can take a minute to win her trust or be able to pick her up, but once you have her in your lap or arms, she's just a sweet, calm little baby who will give you kisses and watch the world with you. In fact, when given the option to play with her brother and the other dogs, she will instead crawl in my lap for cuddles to watch.
Don't think that this means that Sadie doesn't love other dogs or like to play. She does have energy, but she wears out faster than her brother. She loves chew toys and will chew on sticks or nylabones all day.
Sadie uses a heavy duty dog door well despite her small size and keeps the inside of her kennel clean when she has access to a dog door. When she is in the house that does not have a dog door, she doesn't quite understand that she has to signal to go potty outside, but she's smart so with a little time and patience housebreaking shouldn't be a problem.
