Piston was pulled from South Valley Animal Rescue, where he was their longest dog resident. He’s a
hound through and through—vocal in a crate, but surprisingly quiet and content when he’s out playing or curled up with someone.
He cannot go to a home with cats due to his high prey drive, but that same drive makes him an enthusiastic ball player who loves interactive games. Notes from both a visiting trainer and a foster who cared for him describe Piston as “an old man who just wants to cuddle and do old man things.”
