Sassafras is an affectionate young German Shepherd/Belgian Malinois mix. She is eager to please and learns quickly-highly trainable. She will thrive in a home that will keep her mentally and physically stimulated. She does well with other dogs, cats are an unknown. A fenced yard would be a big benefit as she does get the zoomies and loves a good run!

We require an adoption application to be filled out which includes personal references. An in-Home check by a Mikey's Chance volunteer is also performed prior to adoption. Our dogs come to the adopter "ready-to-go" with current Vet health checks, all shots and vaccinations current and the animal spayed or neutered, as well as micro-chipped.
Our adoption process can take 2-4 weeks to process as we are run completely by volunteers, all of whom work full time jobs.
