Hi, my name is Angela. I’m a calm, sweet dog who does best in a quiet, low-key home. I can be shy at first and take a little time to warm up, but once I’m comfortable, my gentle personality really comes through.
I’m a very quiet, easy companion and enjoy being near my person—usually relaxing in the same room and keeping you company. I do well around cats and am non-reactive and uninterested, offering a polite sniff and then going about my business. I’d be a good match for calm, easygoing cats. I even had a little stay at a foster home with 3 cats and I did great with them all!
I enjoy peaceful walks where I can explore at my own pace, and I also do well in the car, especially when I can sit back and look out the window. I’m a bit picky about treats, but Greenies chews are a favorite. Loud noises can be scary for me, so I’m happiest in a quieter environment.
I can be mildly stubborn at times, usually only if I`m nervous, but I communicate clearly and respond when it matters. I enjoy affection on my own terms and appreciate gentle, respectful handling.
My ideal home would enjoy quiet time together and relaxed walks. If you’re looking for a low-maintenance, gentle companion, I could be a great fit. I am really wanting somewhere to nap and enjoy my golden years, and I know my someone is out there, I just hope I meet them soon.
P.S. I qualify for a Welcome Trial, which allows you to take me home for up to 14 days to make sure we’re a good match.
