Animal Harbor requires a signed adoption contract and a fee to adopt a pet. Adoption fees are $110 for cats and kittens and $200 for dogs and puppies. All of our pets are vet checked. They are given age-appropriate shots, micro-chipped, and spayed or neutered before adoption. Adult dogs are tested for heartworms and put on heartworm preventive. Cats are tested for FeLV and FIV, then given preventive vaccines. All of our pets are given rabies shots when they are old enough. They are all also treated with a flea preventive and heartworm prevention.
