Meet Steven! Steven came to us with another dog as strays, and we are still getting to know him. So far Steven seems to be a pretty laid back pup who just wants a cozy couch to sleep on and a family to love him. Steven is over all that silly puppy stuff, he is a mature middle aged gentleman who appears to be potty trained and knows some other basic skills like "sit". Steven doesn't mind other dogs but prefers his personal space, so he would do best with another laid back doggy companion. Steven has done well with cats. If you have other animals in your home, we recommend bringing them in to do a meet and greet before taking Steven home. OUR MISSION: It is the mission of the Fairfield County Dog Adoption Center & Shelter to provide an environment of continuous improvement; emphasizing excellent service and safety for the community; providing the dogs and people of Fairfield County protection, care, and compassion with innovative, yet sustainable means; all while maintaining a standard of the utmost integrity.
It is the purpose of the Fairfield County Dog Adoption Center and Shelter to embrace the dogs of the community; to keep lost or adoptable dogs safe until they can find their way home; to protect Fairfield County through the enforcement of Section 955 of the Ohio Revised Code , and to continue to provide the community with education opportunities on the importance of pet safety and population control.
