Now Adopting: Sir Paw McCartney
Age: 1.5 years | Weight: 45 lbs

Meet Sir Paw McCartney – a rockin’ rescue ready to headline your heart! With a larger-than-life personality and a tail that wags in 4/4 time, this 1.5-year-old heartthrob is the legend your home has been missing.

Sir Paw McCartney is sweet, snuggly, and a little bit of a rascal (he will try to snag your sandwich if you’re not watching—he’s got great taste). Food is his favorite song, and he’s always tuned in for treat time. One head scratch and he’ll melt faster than a vinyl record on a hot day.

Greatest Hits Include:

  • "Can’t Buy Me Love," but you can adopt it
  • "All You Need is Chews"
  • "I Wanna Hold Your Paw"
  • "Twist and Sniff"

Despite a recent intermission for heartworm treatment (he’s doing great!), Sir Paw McCartney’s energy is off the charts. He’s crate-trained, house-trained (just picky about the perfect potty spot), and learning his manners like any rising star.

Supporting Acts:

  • Dogs: Loves to jam with them, though he's a little protective of his crate backstage
  • Cats: Thinks they’re fascinating backup dancers—curious but respectful
  • Kids: Interested in the tiny humans, especially the very energetic kind, but we think he is better with the older variety.

Whether you're looking for a future running buddy or a couch companion for listening sessions, Sir Paw McCartney is ready to rock your world. With a little training and a lot of love, this good boy will go from garage band to Grammy-worthy in no time.

Fun Facts:

  • Adores teen girls and grandmas—he’s got range!
  • Dreams of a life filled with play, treats, and encore snuggles
  • Could be the Paul to your John, the Ringo to your George, or just your one and only

Ready to add a little ruff 'n' roll to your life?
Come together and adopt Sir Paw McCartney today—because all you need is love… and maybe a drool-proof kitchen counter.

More about this rescue

The London Sanctuary (TLS) focuses on providing a safe haven for elderly and unwanted Beagles and Hound Dogs, as well as other at-risk, large to medium-sized breeds, as space and funds permit. Special consideration is given to hounds of all types, which are also greatly at risk in northeast Florida.

• TLS rescues, rehabilitates, and re-homes as many dogs from area shelters as possible. Our priority is to save dogs most at-risk of euthanasia in shelter facilities.
• TLS attempts to place dogs through online pet-listing services and forums, and social media.
• TLS thoroughly screens prospective owners with home and veterinary reference checks.
• TLS houses a limited number of dogs as care-for-life dogs that cannot be placed either due to age and/or medical conditions.
• TLS provides ongoing support and education to all adopters.
• TLS spays/neuters and gives required immunizations and necessary medical treatment to all dogs prior to placement.
