Here's what the humans have to say about me:
☕ Meet Monday — six months old, neutered, and formerly the tiny terror of the cat room (we’re talking full-on, don’t-touch-me, hiss-at-everything chaos).
Monday is a certified brat… but now, after intense negotiation and bribery with treats, he’s agreed to accept a few pets. Yes, just a few, and on his schedule. Blink at the wrong moment? Risk a dramatic swat. Try to rush cuddles? Brace yourself for the tiny attitude storm. 😼💥
He’s playful, smart, and knows exactly how to get what he wants—usually by looking cute, then immediately reminding you who really runs the show. Adopt Monday if you’re ready for a kitten with sass, style, and just the faintest glimmer of affection… on his terms.More information? Call Marion Area Humane Society at 740-389-6548 or email at manager@mahspets.org

More about this shelter
Marion Area Humane Society is a 501(c)(3), non-profit organization incorporated in 1967 under ORC 1717. We strive to educate, assist and protect the animals of the Marion area. Since 1986 have operated a shelter to provide a humane environment for homeless animals. In 2011 several generous donors and grants made it possible for a shelter renovation and addition of a separate intake section. MAHS operates a open-admissions shelter with a guilt and fee free surrender policy, to encourage owners who can not properly care or maintain proper living conditions for their pets to do the best thing for the pet. MAHS also provides humane investigations and a spay/neuter voucher program for Marion county.
