My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Grace is a gentle and shy shepherd mix who is still finding her footing in the shelter environment. She’s a sensitive soul who feels nervous around new people and unfamiliar surroundings, so she’s taking her time to adjust. Grace is learning to trust again and would thrive in a calm, patient home where she can feel safe and loved. This special girl needs someone who understands that building trust takes time and who is willing to give her the gentle care and reassurance she deserves. With kindness and patience, Grace will slowly open her heart and show you the loyal, loving companion she truly is.

The shelter can be reached at 937-498-7201 to schedule a time to meet. Or please feel free to come in during business hours. The shelter is open Monday-Friday 9-5 and Saturday 9am-1pm. Open kennel hours are Monday-Friday 12-4 and Saturday by appointment. Our email is shelbycountyanimalshelter@yahoo.com
