"Ivy is perfect" a statement I hear from the staff. and volunteers almost daily. She's the perfect size, she knows a few commands, she plays well with other dogs, she has the sweetest temperament. She unfortunately is a victim of Black Dog Syndrome. An unfortunate situation where black dogs are overlooked regardless for how perfect they are, because they don't stand out.
