Meet Nala! This big-hearted girl spent two long years waiting in a county shelter before coming to Runaways, and now she’s finally ready for her forever family. Nala is great with other dogs, though she can be a bit selective, and she’s good with kids—she’d just do best with older ones since she doesn’t realize her size and might bowl the little ones over in her excitement.
Nala is full of love and enthusiasm. She knows her manners but can forget them when she’s extra excited—something her future family can help her with through continued training. Not because she’s untrained, but because she truly enjoys it and it helps keep her energy in balance.
This sweet girl would thrive with a family who will take her on nice long walks, give her plenty of playtime, and surround her with love. After all she’s been through, Nala is ready to start her next chapter—with a family of her very own. ❤️

All of our animals come with health records and are dewormed, have age appropriate vaccinations, spayed or neutered, microchipped, all cats are FIV/FeLV tested, and all dogs over 6 months are heartworm tested.
In order to be considered as an adopter you must:
* Be 21 years of age or older
* Have identification showing your present address
* Agree to a home check
* Be able and willing to provide a loving, safe and peaceful environment for this pet
* Be financially stable and willing to provide any necessary medical care
Once you have filled out an application, your application will be reviewed. If approved, we will contact you to schedule a meet and greet and home check via the email address provided.
