My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Looking for a spunky little lady to keep you company? Meet Papaya! Papaya is one of our longer residents now, and unfortunately has been adopted and returned because she was just not the right fit for her previous families. Papaya needs a home without cats or other small animals. She is a very playful girl, she would love an active family that will take her adventuring and keep her active! Papaya's happy place is anywhere with water, she loves to play in the kiddie pools. She is potty trained and knows sit, shake, and down! Papaya has done well with children in the shelter but would do best in a home with older, respectful children. If you have other animals at home we recommend bringing them in for a meet and greet before taking Papaya home. If you are interested in meeting with Papaya, please submit an adoption form on our website: fairfieldcountydogs.com and we will contact you to arrange a time to visit.
