My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! I’m Petal!
I’m a playful little speedster who loves to run, jump, and play all day long — especially with my sister, Flora! She’s my best friend and favorite playmate. We chase each other around the house like tiny athletes, and I’ll even join the older cats for a round of fun when they’re up for it.

When I’m all tuckered out, I love to curl up with my foster parents and drift off to sleep, purring away while snuggled into their arms or hair. I may be full of energy, but I’ve got a soft, loving side too.

I’m a confident, curious kitten who’s litter box trained, great with other cats, and ready to find my forever home — hopefully one where I can keep running, playing, and maybe even bring my sister Flora along!

My adoption fee of $25 includes up-to-date vaccinations, dewormer, and heartworm/flea prevention. Plus, a microchip that is already registered to you! What more could you ask for?

If you`d like to meet me, please fill out an application on our website, PawmettoLifeline.org. Adoptions are by appointment Tuesday through Thursday, Friday and Saturday are walk in from 10-5.

More about this shelter

Pawmetto Lifeline, formerly Project Pet, was founded in 1999. Since the opening of our adoption, medical, and boarding facility in Spring 2012, we have been able to save more than 15,000 companion pets from euthanasia and gave them a new lease on life. We continue to strive toward the goal of a no-kill community and state through adoption, pet retention, rescue partnerships, and medical services.
