🌟 Meet Titan! 🌟

Big, handsome, and oh-so-sweet—Titan is a gentle giant of a tabby who’s only about 1–2 years old. With his “sock paws” and his cuddly personality, this big boy is impossible not to love.

Titan is FIV+ (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus), but don’t let that scare you! Cats with FIV can live long, happy, healthy lives—especially when they’re cared for indoors, given good nutrition, and receive regular vet checkups. FIV is only spread to other cats through deep bite wounds, so Titan can still safely live with friendly, non-aggressive feline companions.

What really matters is who Titan is today: a sweet, affectionate young cat who’s ready to shower his future family with love.

Additional adoption info

Our adoption fees for dogs includes spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccines, de-wormer, flea and tick prevention, heart worm prevention, heart worm tested, and microchip registration.

Adult Dogs: $200
Puppies: $225

Cat adoption fees include spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccines, de-wormer, FIV/FeLV testing, flea and tick prevention, and microchip registration.

Adult Cats: $75 (or $125 for a pair)
Kittens: $90 (or $150 for a pair)

Since 1979, the Effingham County Humane Society has been committed to serving Effingham County, IL and the surrounding area. We are located in the former Funkhouser School, and our non-profit shelter is sustained by volunteers, fundraising, contributions, and adoption fees.

The goal of the Effingham County Humane Society is to reduce animal suffering in our county through educating and promoting responsible pet ownership, including spaying/neutering pets, appropriate pet identification, proper pet care, and the quality adoption of homeless pets.
