Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Calm, Attentive, Devoted
Squeeze is a cat who chooses her person and sticks with them. If you’re gentle and intentional, she rewards you in the sweetest ways. When Squeeze feels safe, she leans into gentle pets, closes her eyes in contentment, and lets out a purr so loud it could power a small city.
She’s also quite the conversationalist. Squeeze has a soft, gentle voice and will happily chat with you throughout the day, especially around mealtime. And sometimes, instead of meowing, she lets out these tiny, bird-like chirps that are impossibly cute and heart-melting.
Quietly loving and observant, Squeeze becomes your cat. She enjoys being in your presence, watching what you’re doing, and following you from room to room like a little shadow. The moment you get up, she’s there, curious about where you’re headed next. Even visitors don’t go unnoticed; when a neighbor stopped by to feed the cats, Squeeze came right up to say hello.
She does well with respectful cats and shares a heating pad with her foster's cat throughout the day.
While she does get the occasional case of zoomies and enjoys toys now and then, she’s mostly content to nap the day away.
Affection with Squeeze is very much about consent and communication. She’ll seek you out when she wants love, but she’s also happy to receive attention when it’s offered gently. Petting is best kept slow and intentional, with head scratches being her favorite. She may also enjoy a back scratch or belly rub in small doses. She isn’t a big snuggler, being near her person is more her style, and that closeness means everything to her.
As you develop a relationship with her, you’ll find she prefers slow movements, and needs a tender, patient approach when being picked up. But with trust, she’s shown she can relax into it. She flinches at fast motions, but when attention is calm and respectful, she opens up beautifully.
The cutest thing about her? Her tiny meow. She meows often and with full expression, but hardly any sound comes out!
Squeeze would thrive in a home with someone who values trust, patience, and quiet companionship. If you’re looking for a cat who will bond deeply, follow you faithfully, and share a meaningful connection, Squeeze might just be your perfect match.
All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
