Meet little Minnie! Found abandoned in a motel parking lot, Minnie has definitely been through a lot in life. Estimated 10-12 years, tiny Minnie has the energy of a much younger dog! She loves a long walk, eagerly jumps up on the couch with her foster humans, and can’t resist a delicious treat. Minnie is house trained and does not have accidents in her foster home! She enjoys walking calmly on a leash and walks well with the other small dog in the home. When it comes to cats, Minnie is your girl! She happily lives and shares space with 5 cats in her foster home, even getting in her cozy bed with one sometimes! She does well with other small dogs too.
Given that Minnie is an older lady, we recommend she is adopted to a home with older children (or none at all!). She lives with elementary school aged kids in her foster home, and is very behaved with them, but we think she would appreciate a calmer and quieter environment as she ages! She seems to prefer men over women in general, but once someone earns her trust, she loves them regardless!

We ask all potential adopters to fill out an adoption application which allows us to check certain points of reference (vets, home ownership status, previous pets, etc). If the application looks good, the adopter signs the adoption contract which states, among other things, the animal(s) will have a permanent home with said adopter and if for any reason this becomes impossible, the animal must be returned to Four Legs Good. Four Legs Good reserves the right to place a follow-up phone call or visit, with notice, within the first year of adoption.
