*Name: Banjo
*Age: 2 years old
*Current Weight: 55lbs
*Rescued from: Texas, fostered in NY!
*Adoption fee: $475
Meet Banjo – a kindhearted yellow Lab mix with a gentle spirit.
Banjo came up from Texas hoping to find a family of his own. He’s a sweet, sensitive boy who may take a little time to feel comfortable, but once he settles in, his affectionate and loyal personality really shines.
In his foster home, Banjo is learning that new people and places can be safe. He’s still gaining confidence, but he’s making steady progress each day. Having the company of other animals makes all the difference for him — he does best with another friendly dog in the home who can help show him the ropes and bring out his playful side.
Banjo also loves cats and enjoys playing gently with them, just like he does with his doggy friends. He’s a big fan of toys — especially stuffed animals and balls — and he’ll happily entertain himself tossing them around.
A fenced yard is ideal so Banjo can safely explore and build confidence at his own pace. He’s looking for a calm, patient home where love and understanding come naturally.
If you’re looking for a sweet companion who will reward your kindness with quiet devotion and a wagging tail, Banjo might be the perfect fit for your family.
Are you ready to give Banjo the happy and comfortable life he truly deserves?
