Meet Sugar Plum!
Sugar is a sweet and beautiful mixed breed girl, 4-6 yr old and around 65 lbs. She has the perfect blend of a generally calm, quiet demeanor and an adorably silly personality. She loves to walk and even jog, chill in the backyard and roll in the grass. When she wants to be especially cute, she shows off her signature tummy crawl with a big grin and waggy tail.
This sweet girl is deeply loyal and very people focused. With limited exposure to some life experiences, Sugar can be a bit unsure at first and thrives with consistent, confident leadership.
Her ideal home would be a fairly quiet, mellow home , with daily walks and outings, and experienced, confident leadership she can trust and follow.
Soft, shiny and smart-and even a fan of the water-Sugar is ready to find a loving home and start her next chapter.

A meet and greet will be arranged so that your whole family can meet your new pet before adopting him/her. We want to make sure it is a good fit since it is a commitment for the animal’s lifetime.

SPOT was created to fill the need to save animals who “fall through the cracks” in our sheltering system. Local shelters are overwhelmed—they receive so many strays and owner turn-ins that they run out of space and have to kill thousands of animals each year. The majority of these animals are healthy and simply need to be placed into a home. Others are medical cases which require some work, but do not have life-threatening diseases or injuries. And a few have some moderate behavior issues; we work with specialists to correct these behaviors before finding them their forever home. The bottom line is SPOT can save these lives.
