My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

BAMBOULINA is a female-spayed short hair apricot dilute tabby cat. She was born about July 2021. We have no data about her early life. She was found & rescued April 2025 by a kind person, as a stray with nursing kittens, then relinquished to YAPS to find a permanent home. At first she was stressed and withdrawn, but with time and love, she has become comfortable & loving. We find her to be initially shy with some strangers, but is loving when she knows you. She appreciates a gentle approach. Once she knows you, she often comes to you for affection. She likes being petted – often nuzzles you, & may “knead biscuits” or roll over for stomach rubs in appreciation. She prefers not to be held. She gets along well with other cats, but not dogs

Additional adoption info

Our animals can be viewed either on our website under the adopt a pet tab, in person at our facility located at 11937 13th Street in Yucaipa, or you can call us for more information. If you choose to come and visit, feel free to wander through the kennels and cattery. If you find an animal that you like, please come to the office for more information. After that you will have the opportunity to interact with the animal and learn more about its history and background. If after the meet and greet you decide that you would like to adopt the animal and our experience leads us to believe that it is a good fit, you can pay the adoption fee and begin life with your new best friend.
