My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Simon!

Simon is a 4-month-old, 23-pound Husky/Lab mix — and the last of his litter to find a forever home! This handsome boy is bold, curious, and thoughtful in his own way. He likes to take a quick pause before leaping into new adventures, but once he’s decided, there’s no stopping him!

Simon is brave, smart, and not shy about asking for what he wants — whether it’s treats, toys, or snuggles. Kisses are his specialty, and he gives them out generously to everyone he meets.

When he’s done with his puppy antics, Simon transforms into a total cuddle bug. No pillow fort? No problem — he’ll make one himself! He’s already working on his puppy skills, including going outside for potty breaks, sitting for treats, and learning new commands. He doesn’t sleep through the night just yet, but after a quick potty break and breakfast, he’s happy to snooze again.

Simon is equal parts adventure buddy and couch companion — the perfect match for an active family who loves both playtime and cuddle time. If you’re ready to give this sweet boy the forever home he deserves, apply today!

More about this rescue

We're a home-based rescue, so there's always someone around to care for the dogs. Most of our dogs are allowed to roam the main yard (as long as they behave themselves), and we have several food and water stations throughout. Every evening, the dogs are tucked into our kennel building with soft bedding.

Our focus is family-friendly dogs who get along with everyone. Of course, we sometimes don't know a dog's temperament until we meet, but we work hard to ensure dogs are going to the right homes for them.

Mission Statement
To provide rescue, rehabilitation and new loving homes for dogs that have been living on the street, abused, abandoned and removed from high kill shelters.
