Meet Paxton!
Paxton has an incredible temperament — calm, balanced, and happy to go with the flow. He has a neutral energy level and is just as content playing as he is hanging out quietly by your side. He absolutely adores children and is very gentle and patient with them.

He’s about 8 months old and 55 pounds, and we expect him to finish filling out around 65 pounds. With his sturdy build and expressive face, he looks like a lovable bull terrier mix.

Paxton is potty trained, knows sit, and is great with kids, cats, and other dogs. He’s a funny, stocky guy with a big heart and an even bigger charm — the kind of dog who will keep you smiling every single day.

Adoptions include spay/neuter, vaccines, microchip, health certificate and transportation.

Dogs over 6 months: $300
(Special adoption fee applies to some dogs and puppies)

More about this rescue

We're a home-based rescue, so there's always someone around to care for the dogs. Most of our dogs are allowed to roam the main yard (as long as they behave themselves), and we have several food and water stations throughout. Every evening, the dogs are tucked into our kennel building with soft bedding.

Our focus is family-friendly dogs who get along with everyone. Of course, we sometimes don't know a dog's temperament until we meet, but we work hard to ensure dogs are going to the right homes for them.

To provide rescue, rehabilitation and new loving homes for dogs that have been living on the street, abused, abandoned and removed from high kill shelters.
