Dorito is a 9-month-old female kitten who feels most comfortable in the company of other cats. She is shy and would do best in a home with a feline friend, as she gains confidence when she has another cat to snuggle with. Dorito will benefit from continued socialization, but she is overall an easygoing kitten who enjoys playing with cat toys and relaxing with her feline companions.

The Town of Hempstead Animal Shelter boasts one of the highest adoption rates in the nation. Come tour the Animal Shelter, meet a dog or cat, and bring the love of a pet into your home. All adopted pets will be spayed or neutered, will receive required inoculations and will be microchipped. These are included in adoption fees.
