My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bambi`s Compatibility:
Dogs - Yes!
Cats - Not a good fit
Kids - Prefers older kids 14+

Bambi is a young Husky at just a year old, and she`s full of energy and personality! She’s super smart, playful, and always ready to be where the action is. One minute she’s zooming around, the next she’s giving you those classic Husky “what are we doing now?” looks that will make you laugh.

Bambi is still learning how to be her best self. She already knows sit and down and picks up new skills quickly, but she will do best with someone ready to give her consistent training, guidance, and plenty of exercise to keep her mind and body busy. She loves playing with other dogs and can turn any day into a full-on Husky adventure.

Bambi is looking for someone who loves Huskies, loves to laugh, and is ready for a smart, playful pup who will need training and structure to shine. She’s not your average dog, she’s Bambi!

More about this shelter

With an open admission policy, a No-Kill philosophy, and more than 3,100 animals crossing our threshold each year, we have still maintained a 98% placement rate over the last 3 years.

This is an amazing feat for any organization…let alone one that takes in some of the most abused, injured and seriously ill animals imaginable.
