My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Chadwick! 🐾
This handsome black lab is a true survivor. Chadwick lost a leg after being hit by a semi-truck, but don’t let that fool you—he hasn’t lost his zest for life one bit! At about 5.5 years old and 65 pounds, he’s the perfect mix of playful and loyal.
Chadwick has that classic lab personality: outgoing, friendly, and always ready for fun. His favorite thing in the world? Toys! He’ll happily work for playtime and can keep himself entertained like a pro. Despite being a tripod, Chadwick still enjoys running around and living life to the fullest.

He gets along great with respectful dogs but would prefer a cat-free home. Car rides aren’t his favorite, so he’d be happiest with a family who enjoys spending time at home or in the yard with him.

After being overlooked at another rescue, Chadwick is ready for his big chance. He’s resilient, joyful, and has so much love to give. Could you be the one to give this special boy the forever home he deserves?

More about this rescue

We're a home-based rescue, so there's always someone around to care for the dogs. Most of our dogs are allowed to roam the main yard (as long as they behave themselves), and we have several food and water stations throughout. Every evening, the dogs are tucked into our kennel building with soft bedding.

Our focus is family-friendly dogs who get along with everyone. Of course, we sometimes don't know a dog's temperament until we meet, but we work hard to ensure dogs are going to the right homes for them.

Mission Statement
To provide rescue, rehabilitation and new loving homes for dogs that have been living on the street, abused, abandoned and removed from high kill shelters.
