My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Tiki! 🐾💙
Born in May 2023, Tiki had a rough start — he and his litter were dumped with their mom, umbilical cords still attached. His whole family has since been adopted, except for Tiki and his brother. Now it’s his turn to find a forever home!

Tiki is fully vetted and even passed his temperament test with the Veteran Association. He’s wonderful with other dogs and children, making him an all-around good boy. This big, handsome 72-pound sweetheart has one very adorable quirk: he loves to carry things in his mouth — sticks, water bottles, rocks, balls — whatever treasure he finds, he proudly brings it to you as a gift.

He’s also a huge fan of water and would love a family who enjoys outdoor adventures. Car rides aren’t his favorite at first (he sometimes needs a boost in), but once he’s in, he rides like a champ.

Tiki is ready for a home where he can be loved, spoiled, and appreciated for the gentle, goofy, water-loving gift-giver he is. Could that be you?

More about this rescue

We're a home-based rescue, so there's always someone around to care for the dogs. Most of our dogs are allowed to roam the main yard (as long as they behave themselves), and we have several food and water stations throughout. Every evening, the dogs are tucked into our kennel building with soft bedding.

Our focus is family-friendly dogs who get along with everyone. Of course, we sometimes don't know a dog's temperament until we meet, but we work hard to ensure dogs are going to the right homes for them.

Mission Statement
To provide rescue, rehabilitation and new loving homes for dogs that have been living on the street, abused, abandoned and removed from high kill shelters.
