My name is Mocha!

DOG SELECTIVE and no small dogs Mocha (3 years old) went to the door of a house asking for help. She was very underweight and had signs of abuse. She still had the most loving spirit. She is extremely friendly to people and loves getting attention and cuddles. She doesn't like cats and is dog selective. She is energetic and loves her toys, bed, and her comforters/blankets. She loves treats and walks. She would do well with a fenced yard where she can run and play. Mocha is available through Guardians of the Green Mile (www.gotgm.org) of Portage, IN. Thank you for your interest in adopting a pet from Guardians of the Green Mile Inc. We are a group of individuals that have come together to save the lives of animals that are in danger of being euthanized. We raise funds to fully vet the animals and to provide them with a stable home until they are adopted. All of the dogs in our Rescue are in Foster homes while they are looking for their forever family. The only time we put a dog in boarding is for a Foster to go on vacation if another Foster is not able to care for them. We appreciate your taking the time to fill out the application to adopt one of our Guardians of the Green Mile pets. The questions that we ask are to only find the right fit for all of our dogs and the families that will be adopting them. Adoption donation is $300.00 for dogs over 1 year old and $350 with a $50.00 spay / neuter deposit for puppies/dogs under 1 year old.
