My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Ink! 🖤✨

This stunning 1-year-old girl will steal your heart with her striking yellow eyes and silky black coat.

Ink is the perfect blend of sweet and playful—she loves toys, belly rubs, and being close to her people. She’s already spayed, vaccinated, and fully vetted, so the only thing she’s missing is a forever family of her own.

She’s wonderful with kids, adults, and other cats, making her a great fit for almost any home. Affectionate and playful, Ink is ready to fill your life with love and joy.

All Ink wants is a place to call home. Could that be with you? 💕

More about this rescue

Welcome to Murray County Humane Society!

Murray County Humane Society is a 100% volunteer-run, GA-licensed 501(c)(3) nonprofit rescue based in rural North Georgia. Our mission is to provide second chances to animals in need by assisting with owner surrenders and rescuing shelter pets that might otherwise face euthanasia.

Every animal in our care receives essential veterinary care, vaccinations, and spay/neuter services before being matched with a loving, qualified family. Through compassion, dedication, and community support, we work to give each animal the opportunity to live a safe and happy life.
