Dog's Name: Scooter (SCO0825ALAMD)
Estimated Breed: Hound / Beagle mix
Approximate Age: 7 months DOB 05/31/2025
Approximate Weight: 40 lbs
Currently Living at: Foster
Adoption Fee: $400
DOG'S DESCRIPTION: Meet Pup Scooter!
Scooter is an adorable hound/beagle mix with the sweetest personality. He is one of five siblings (Hunter, Scooter, Tracker, Ranger, and Harmony) who were rescued from a rural part of Alabama, where several momma dogs and their litters were living together in a pack. Thankfully, K-9 Lifesavers stepped in to give them all a chance at a brighter future. Scooter is a friendly, lovable pup who is great with other dogs and eager to soak up all the love and attention he can get. He’s in his prime age for training and socialization, making now the perfect time to welcome him into your family. If you’re looking for a playful, affectionate companion who will grow into a wonderful family dog, Scooter may just be your perfect match.
Submit an application today and give Pup Scooter the home he deserves!
Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family.
Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet.
Foster Program: Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home.
