Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Millie had a rough start but she has come such a long way! She was found as an injured feral kitten by a good Samaritan. Her rear leg had been severely broken and had been left untreated, healing at an odd and probably painful angle. She is a brave little survivor and once trapped and treated, she has shown that the loss of a limb, there is nothing she can't handle! She climbs cat trees, runs and plays just as much as any cat. She is a quieter, shy girl at first but once she adjusts she is very chatty and talks to you at meal times and when she wants your attention. She has come so far and would probably continue to blossom in a calm house with other calm kitties and patient people. It takes her time to warm up to new people but she rewards her person with the biggest purr a tiny girl can muster! She loves watching birds and squirrels out the window, cuddling with her cat friends and playing with toys, mice, balls and springs. She is a fan of catnip and enjoys treats!

More about this rescue
We're a home-based rescue, so there's always someone around to care for the dogs. Most of our dogs are allowed to roam the main yard (as long as they behave themselves), and we have several food and water stations throughout. Every evening, the dogs are tucked into our kennel building with soft bedding.
Our focus is family-friendly dogs who get along with everyone. Of course, we sometimes don't know a dog's temperament until we meet, but we work hard to ensure dogs are going to the right homes for them.
Mission Statement
To provide rescue, rehabilitation and new loving homes for dogs that have been living on the street, abused, abandoned and removed from high kill shelters.
