My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

🐾 MISSION REPORT: PRIVATE TDY REPORTING FOR DUTY 🐾Name: TDY (Temporary Duty, but she’s ready for a permanent post)DOB: 4/1/25Rank: Specialist in Cuteness and Combat RecoveryStand at ease, troops — because Private TDY is here to steal hearts and claim laps! This beautiful little soldier has already proven she’s tougher than a two-dollar steak, bravely overcoming Panleukopenia like the fearless fighter she is. Now, she’s on a new mission: to find her forever family.TDY’s got a sweet nature and loves a good cuddle recon, especially when the sun’s shining. She’s a professional sunbather and can be spotted sprawled out in the nearest sunbeam like a little queen on patrol. Off-duty? She’s purring in your lap, making top-tier biscuits while she drifts off into napland. But don’t be fooled by those pretty looks — when the butterfly toy hits the field, TDY’s on the front lines! She loves to chase, pounce, and play like a pro. And when the chow bell rings, this girl’s first in formation, ready to report for kibble duty.TDY never turns down a good time and makes every mission a little brighter. She’d love a fellow soldier (feline or human) to share her adventures. Is your home ready to be TDY’s forever command post? Enlist this beauty today — she’s ready to deploy straight to your heart!

More about this rescue

We're a home-based rescue, so there's always someone around to care for the dogs. Most of our dogs are allowed to roam the main yard (as long as they behave themselves), and we have several food and water stations throughout. Every evening, the dogs are tucked into our kennel building with soft bedding.

Our focus is family-friendly dogs who get along with everyone. Of course, we sometimes don't know a dog's temperament until we meet, but we work hard to ensure dogs are going to the right homes for them.

Mission Statement
To provide rescue, rehabilitation and new loving homes for dogs that have been living on the street, abused, abandoned and removed from high kill shelters.
