Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Sparkler ?
Sparkler arrived with his siblings, Firework and Firecracker. While they have since found their homes, Sparkler remains—quietly growing up in the shelter, still waiting for his turn.
When he first came to us, Sparkler was very timid, though always incredibly sweet. As we’ve gotten to know him, we’ve seen that he truly blossoms in the company of another cat. Having a feline friend gives him the confidence he needs to feel safe and secure.
Sparkler would do best in a calm, quiet home. Sudden movements or people rushing toward him can be overwhelming, and he retreats when he feels unsure. But once he learns that you are the gentle provider of meals and treats, he begins to show himself more and more. Trust, for Sparkler, is earned softly—and when it is, it’s meaningful.
Anyone considering opening their heart to this shy boy should understand that he may need several weeks to fully come out of his shell. That isn’t a flaw—it’s simply who he is. With patience, consistency, and love, Sparkler has so much to give.
His current office roommate is also available for adoption, and adopting them together could make Sparkler’s transition into a new home much smoother and less stressful.
If you’re willing to offer a peaceful space and the gift of time, Sparkler may just reward you with the quiet, devoted companionship only a sensitive soul can provide. Please reach out to (410) 827-7178 to schedule a meet and greet with him.
