Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Larry! 🐾Larry’s story started rough—he was found at just 5 weeks old, covered in ringworm, after being left behind during an eviction. Thanks to the love and care he received, Larry has healed beautifully, and now he’s ready to find a forever home where he can truly feel safe.Larry is about 1 year old and weighs 44 pounds. He looks like he might be part Boxer, maybe Frenchie, Boston Terrier, and possibly a little pitty—your guess is as good as ours, but whatever he is, he’s 100% original and 100% lovable. He’s a shy, submissive boy who finds comfort just being near his person. One of his favorite things? Sitting on the couch and gently holding your arm in his mouth. It’s his version of a hug.And don’t get us started on his ears—one stands up, the other flops down, and together they make him look permanently curious and completely irresistible. 🥹Larry does well with all dogs and just needs slow introductions so he can build confidence and feel safe. Once he knows he’s okay, he warms up quickly and loves to be part of the pack. He’s crate trained and housebroken, and he does best when he has plenty of things to do to keep his mind busy—especially chew toys and marrow bones, which he absolutely loves. If you’re looking for a gentle soul who just wants to be close to you and feel safe, Larry could be your guy.

We're a home-based rescue, so there's always someone around to care for the dogs. Most of our dogs are allowed to roam the main yard (as long as they behave themselves), and we have several food and water stations throughout. Every evening, the dogs are tucked into our kennel building with soft bedding.
Our focus is family-friendly dogs who get along with everyone. Of course, we sometimes don't know a dog's temperament until we meet, but we work hard to ensure dogs are going to the right homes for them.
Mission Statement
To provide rescue, rehabilitation and new loving homes for dogs that have been living on the street, abused, abandoned and removed from high kill shelters.
