Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Cinnamonroll is a sensitive cat who needs time to feel comfortable in new environments. She is learning to trust people and we know that treats and playtime are the key to her heart. While she prefers not to be picked up or held, she does enjoy quiet companionship of other friendly cats, especially her sister Giraffe. Cinnamonroll would be best in a calm home with feline friends who help her feel safe and secure. She has not been around cat friendly dogs. We do not recommend Cinnamonroll have a home with young children.
*Cinnamonroll is still adjusting to shelter life. If you come to meet her, you’ll see a cat who is reluctant to interact with you unless you have treats or a wand toy. However, in her rescuer’s home she came out of her shell and enjoyed the company of people and other cats. If you decide to take a chance on her, she will need a lot of time and patience to settle into a new home.*

More about this rescue
Abandoned Animal Rescue is a no-kill dog / cat shelter located in Magnolia serving Northwest Harris and Southern Montgomery Counties in Texas. It is staffed by dedicated volunteers devoted to saving the lives of homeless and unwanted companion animals.
AAR's mission is to work towards ending pet overpopulation that results in the euthanasia of unwanted cats and dogs. We do this by providing a rescue and adoption center, by emphasizing the importance of spaying and neutering and by educating on humane animal ownership. AAR is committed to the emotional, physical, and behavioral well being of each animal in our care.
All animals surrendered to the shelter are spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and wormed; dogs are tested for heartworms and, if positive, are treated prior to adoption.
All operating money for AAR comes from
clinic and adoption fees, donations, and fundraisers. AAR receives no government money or assistance.
