Kix is a small but mighty bundle of love and energy—most of her weight is pure muscle! She’s an active, happy girl who thrives in a home that enjoys staying on the move.
Kix is wonderful with kids of all ages, cats, and other dogs. Because she has a high energy level, she wouldn’t be the best match for seniors or anyone looking for a low-key companion. She loves to run, explore, and play outside, and she especially enjoys swimming—even if she’s still perfecting her technique! After a day of activity, she’s more than happy to curl up for couch cuddles.
She has a gentle, sweet personality and a curious nature that makes her enjoy roaming and exploring. Kix is easy to train, very smart, and motivated by both treats and attention. She has already completed basic training and knows commands like sit, lay down, wait, and go to bed. She is also fully potty trained.
Kix would do well with first-time dog owners who are ready for a high-energy dog and have the time and commitment to keep her active and engaged. With the right family, she’ll be a loyal, loving, and fun companion.

We're a home-based rescue, so there's always someone around to care for the dogs. Most of our dogs are allowed to roam the main yard (as long as they behave themselves), and we have several food and water stations throughout. Every evening, the dogs are tucked into our kennel building with soft bedding.
Our focus is family-friendly dogs who get along with everyone. Of course, we sometimes don't know a dog's temperament until we meet, but we work hard to ensure dogs are going to the right homes for them.
Mission Statement
To provide rescue, rehabilitation and new loving homes for dogs that have been living on the street, abused, abandoned and removed from high kill shelters.
