My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Paddock and her brother Greymalkin were found outside a convenience store along I-35 when they were only 8 or 9 weeks old. Cautious and shy at first, they have blossomed into friendly, playful, affectionate kittens.
They have had initial shots. Paddock will be adopted on a contract requiring the adopter to get her spayed. If I spay her prior to adoption, the adoption fee will be equal to my costs to get her spayed.

More about this rescue

We began by rescuing Welsh Corgis (both Cardigan and Pembroke) and then Great Danes. Then we took some Corgi mixes to keep them from being euthanized, and eventually accepted some other dogs, and took in the occasional cat.

We largely stepped back from rescue in 2012, but continue to take in a few animals at a time and find homes for them. Currently, we are taking in unwanted animals from the Rio Grande Valley and finding them homes, which is why you will see dogs that have nothing to do with either Corgis or Great Danes listed.

All animals are vaccinated and spayed or neutered prior to adoption, with very few exceptions.
