We began by rescuing Welsh Corgis (both Cardigan and Pembroke) and then Great Danes. Then we took some Corgi mixes to keep them from being euthanized, and eventually accepted some other dogs, and took in the occasional cat. We largely stepped back from rescue in 2012, but continue to take in a few animals at a time and find homes for them. Currently, we are taking in unwanted animals from the Rio Grande Valley and finding them homes, which is why you will see dogs that have nothing to do with either Corgis or Great Danes listed. All animals are vaccinated and spayed or neutered prior to adoption, with very few exceptions.
