My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Rossa: Master of Concerned Expressions, Full-Time Sweetheart
Yes, her face always says “Wait…what?” Don’t worry—she’s not actually panicking about her taxes, that’s just her look. Rossa doesn’t need to worry about taxes, she doesn't pay them anyway.
We’re not here to highlight Rossa’s alleged tax evasion, though- Here’s what she’s really about:
Collecting soft, squeaky toys like she’s preparing for the Plushy Olympics. The squeakier the better.

Rolling over for belly rubs until your hands need lotion (she believes this is a fair sacrifice).

Enjoying only the finest snacks: Rossa is a top-shelf girl with top-shelf taste. But you can just tell her the snacks are from the top-shelf. She doesn’t have any way to audit you.

Underneath the “perpetually concerned emoji” exterior is a sweet, playful pup who just wants to snuggle, play, and make you laugh. Once you’re in her circle, you’ll realize she’s not confused: she’s just perfecting her dramatic acting skills.
Rossa’s ready to swap her worried face for happy zoomies in a home that knows the value of squeaky toys and really good treats. Come down to the Fredericksburg SPCA and meet this one of a kind girl.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

Our adoption process is easy! No home visits, no reference checks. We have many dogs and cats available for adoption.
Our adoption fee includes spay/neuter surgery, microchip & registration, basic vaccines, rabies vaccine (4 months and older), age-appropriate blood testing (6 months and older), flea/tick/heartworm treatments, and deworming.
As a non-profit organization, our adoption fees help us to offset some of these costs.
