My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

🌟 Meet Bonnie & Clyde! 🌟

This bonded Staffordshire Bull Terrier duo was saved from the urgent list at the shelter in August 2024 and has been in rescue with Journey’s Legacy ever since, waiting for a forever home where they can stay together. We believe they may be mother and son 🐾💖, and they must be adopted as a pair.

Bonnie is around 4 years old and an absolute sweetheart 🥰. She loves attention, cuddles, and will happily snuggle next to you on the couch. Calm and affectionate, Bonnie is a gentle girl who makes everyone around her feel loved and special.

Clyde is about 3 years old and just as gorgeous as Bonnie, with a little extra charm and protectiveness 🐶💪. He loves to lay his head on your shoulder in the car 🚗 or hang his head out the window to enjoy the breeze. Clyde is very protective of Bonnie and prefers to be the only dog around, so no other pets or cats, please 🐱🚫. He’s loyal, loving, and affectionate toward people.

Both Bonnie and Clyde are fixed, up-to-date on shots, microchipped, and heartworm negative ✅. They are kid friendly 👦👧 and love attention from humans of all ages, making them perfect companions for a family who can give them all the love and focus they deserve.

More about this rescue

Journey's Legacy is a small rescue in Cleveland, TN. We save dogs from the local shelter, off the streets, and occasionally owner surrenders if there is room or an urgent need. We have dogs in foster homes, boarding facilities, and the ranch. We specialize in medium to large breed dogs. We are working hard to get laws to change to require pet owners to spay and neuter their pets to stop the overpopulation of animals.
